Over the past five years, the program has consistently remained top-ranked across the nation, reflecting the dedication, expertise, and compassionate care provided by the Cardiac Rehab team. The Grand Lake Health System Cardiac Rehab program is certified through the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR), a distinction that recognizes programs demonstrating excellence in quality, safety, and patient-centered care. This certification highlights the department’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards in cardiac rehabilitation services.
In addition to program-level recognition, five dedicated team members—Mindy Mines, Mary Beth Mielke, Emily Shelby, Nick Steinke, and Carla Ahrens—hold individual certifications and maintain the Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (CCRP) credential.
