Grand Lake Health System’s OB/GYN team will host its second annual Girl Talk event on Thursday, March 12, 2026, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at St. Marys High School in the Commons Area. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. The free event is designed to support pre-teen and teenage girls, along with their mothers or guardians, as they navigate the changes that come with growing up.
Led by Grand Lake OB/GYN physicians and nurse practitioners, Girl Talk will provide education, guidance, and open conversation about body changes and healthy habits. Session topics will include hair care, healthy eating, hygiene, bad breath, bras, periods, pimples, and more. The session is recommended for girls ages 8–13 but is open to all. Mothers are encouraged to attend with their daughters to help foster communication and confidence during this important stage of development.
Pizza will be provided by Grand Lake OB/GYN, with snacks and drinks generously provided by Myriad Genetic Testing. All attendees will receive complimentary pads courtesy of Procter & Gamble.
This event is free and open to the public; however, space is limited. Attendees are encouraged to register in advance by scanning the QR code on the event flyer, or by clicking the link: https://ow.ly/h0Ji50Y8Je9 .
