Grand Lake Health System was pleased to welcome Ohio State Representative Angie King for a tour of its ongoing Outpatient Renovation Project. The visit highlighted Grand Lake Health System’s continued investment in expanding access to high-quality healthcare for the communities it serves.
During her visit, Representative King toured the newly completed Phase II of the renovation project and learned more about the remaining phases. Grand Lake Health System is now actively engaged in Phase III, which will house specialty physician offices and further enhance access to specialty care throughout the region.
“Our renovation project reflects our commitment to providing exceptional care in a modern, patient-centered environment while ensuring residents have access to specialty healthcare close to home,” said Lesia Arnett, Executive Director of Development, Marketing and Outreach.
In addition to touring the facility, Representative King met with Grand Lake Health System leadership to discuss important issues impacting rural healthcare, including the Rural Health Transformation Initiative. Leaders also discussed the Chronic Disease Management Grant, an opportunity that could help further improve healthcare outcomes and expand programs addressing the chronic health needs of the communities Grand Lake Health System serves.
Grand Lake Health System appreciates Representative King’s visit, her interest in the organization’s vision for the future, and her continued advocacy for rural healthcare providers across Ohio.
