EFREN C. AGANON

Dr. Efren Aganon is a board-certified pediatrician with more than 35 years of experience caring for infants, children, and adolescents. He brings a calm, thoughtful approach to pediatric medicine and is committed to building strong relationships with the families he serves. Dr. Aganon earned his medical degree from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine and completed his pediatric residency and fellowship training in both the Philippines and the United States, including a Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship at North Carolina Baptist Hospital.

He currently sees patients at Grand Lake Pediatrics, where he provides comprehensive primary care, including newborn care, well-child visits, and the management of chronic and complex conditions. He also brings extensive experience in attending high-risk deliveries and supporting children’s health through every stage of development.

Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Aganon enjoys photography and spending time outdoors with his wife and their three children. His approachable style, depth of experience, and dedication to quality care make him a trusted provider for families in the community.
