Dr. Michael C. Josey is a primary care physician and Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) at Grand Lake Health System in St. Marys, Ohio. Since 1995, he has provided compassionate, patient-centered care at Grand Lake Primary Care. As CMIO, Dr. Josey is committed to transforming healthcare through technology—leading efforts to optimize EHR systems, enhance clinical decision support, and streamline workflows to improve patient outcomes. He earned his MD from Dalhousie University and holds a BSc in Biology from Acadia University. Prior to his work in Ohio, he practiced in rural Nova Scotia, Canada.
Dr. Josey is passionate about leveraging innovation to improve the healthcare experience for both patients and providers. His vision is to create a more efficient and connected healthcare environment where technology empowers clinical practice, reduces burdens on providers, and ultimately leads to better, safer care.
