Dr. Venkata Chalasani is a dedicated and compassionate primary care physician with more than 25 years of experience in Internal Medicine. Throughout his career, he has focused on delivering high-quality, personalized care to patients in both rural and suburban communities, helping individuals and families manage a wide range of health concerns.
Dr. Chalasani began his medical journey in 1991, earning his MBBS from J.J.M. Medical College in Davangere, Karnataka, India. He continued his training with a residency in Internal Medicine at Catholic Medical Center, affiliated with Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Brooklyn and Queens, New York.
Since completing his residency in 1998, Dr. Chalasani has built a strong practice within the Grand Lake Health System, serving as a primary care physician in Wapakoneta. He also provides hospitalist care at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital supporting patients through more acute and complex health needs.
Over the years, he has been involved in specialized clinical roles, including cardiology observation and hypertension research, further deepening his medical expertise. Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine from 1998 to 2018, Dr. Chalasani is also an Associate Member of the American College of Physicians, reflecting his ongoing commitment to professional growth and evidence-based care.
